I've recently been working with Metrix Pebble Linux to configure it to run on my StompBox.  My Stompbox is a wireless router that constists of a Soekris net4521 with an AirPrime PC5220 EVDO card from Verizon Wireless and a Senao NL-2511 MP mini-PCI WiFi card.  Metrix Pebble is an enhanced version of Pebble Linux.  One of the enhancements is a heavily modified version of WiFiAdmin that gives you a web based administration tool. It won't do all of your administration, but does do the basics that are needed the most.
